SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2021-068-KB, for
Roofing Consultant Services
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2021-068-KB, which seeks to select a qualified consultant(s) to assist the
Property Management Department in evaluating the condition of roofs at various municipal facilities,
providing owner's representative services during an approved repair, and/or replacement program and
other services.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on January 22, 2021. The responsive proposals
will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
•Ramon Duarte, Assistant Director, Property Management Department, City of Miami Beach
•Martin Calcano, Facility Capital Projects Coordinator, Property Management Department, City
of Miami Beach
•Elizabeth Estevez, Parks and Recreation Project Coordinator, Parks and Recreation
Department, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
•Pilar Caurin, Capital Projects Coordinator, Capital Improvement Projects Department, City of
