In addition, establishments found violating the curfew will now be subject to both closure of the establishment and monetary penalties, with a civil fine of $1,000 for the first offense, and 5,000 for the second or subsequent offenses. No establishment closed for violation of the curfew shall be permitted to re-open or commence business operations until the corresponding fine has been paid and an attestation of compliance has been executed and submitted in accordance with the City’s emergency order. Any violation of the provisions of this Order may subject an operator, business entity, or organization to the closure of the establishment for a period of at least 24 hours, or through the duration of the State of Emergency.
