The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform the Mayor and the Commission of the
revised motion made by the LGBTQ Advisory Committee at their meeting on February 9, 2021.
MOTION:
Miami Beach is an inclusive and diverse community. In honor of living our values of being a
welcoming place to live, work, and visit, the LGBTQ Advisory Committee motioned for the City to
keep the rainbow flags on the two lifeguard stands located in Lummus Park on 6 Street and 14
Street and Ocean Drive all year round.
