SUBJECT : Update on Commission Resolution to Create Office Hours in Miami Beach with State
Condo Ombudsman
The purpose of this L TC is to update you on Commissioner Richardson's resolution
2020-31495 directing the City Administration to coordinate with the office of the
Condominium Ombudsman to establish regular office hours for the Ombudsman to
meet with City of Miami Beach constituents and to provide office space for such meeting
to take place here in.
The Neighborhood Affairs Division along with the City Manager's Office worked with the
State Department of Business and Professional Regulation and is pleased to welcome
Florida's Condominium Ombudsman Spencer Hennings to Miami Beach City Hall. Mr.
Hennings will hold open office hours each Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the first-floor
conference room.
The Ombudsman's office can help with condominium election monitoring, education,
facilitating effective communications, making recommendations on new condominium
laws and more
