I am pleased to inform you of the upcoming Miami-Dade County Youth Council Conference on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. The City of Miami Beach Youth Commission will be participating in this virtual gathering of youth council members and students who may be interested in joining the Youth Commission as these youth discuss the relationship of the youth councils within Miami-Dade and strengthen the voice of their membership. In September 2016, Miami Beach Youth Commission was designated to provide the youth of Miami Beach with a vehicle to learn about government, participate in the process of City government, repres ent and articulate the needs of youth in the City, and provide recommendations to the Mayor and City Commissioners on issues and programs affecting the youth and teen population in the City.
