Event: Special Abilities Program Kickoff (Margaret M. Swett Social Club)

Location: North Shore Park Youth Center (501 72 Street) Our Social Club for adults with developmental dis abilities will kick-off the summer season with a BBQ celebration. Participants will partake in a member reunion to catch up and discuss new ideas, while enjoying a delicious lunch. This summer mini-series will include some of our favorite pastimes including kickball and a Movie in the Park.

Fractured Fairytale"

Location: Muss Park (4300 Chase Avenue) Get ready for the most unique version of Cinderella ye t. Take the classic story of Cinderella, mix in elements of comedy, slapstick, music, acrobatics, magic and even British Pantomime, and you've got a new version of an old story that will leave audiences begging for more! FTF's Cinderella, A Fractured Fairy Tale, is a hilarious deconstruction of one of our most well-known fairy tales. Each group will have their own movie pod (12x12 circle). Miami Beach summer camps start June 14. Get ready for some fun under the sun. Participants
can step into a journey to become culinary chefs, coding masters, or soccer players at one of
our specialty camps or create lifetime memories at our structured and supervised summer

Juneteenth Food Festival

Join Parks and Recreation as we celebrate Juneteenth, the emancipation of slavery in Texas in
1865. Bring your appetite to sample an array of Black American and vegan soul food as well as
Afro-Caribbean favorites, and then dance the afternoon away to the sounds of a dynamic music
set as the kids enjoy the interactive children's play village. Admission is free, food and drinks will
be sold.
