SUBJECT: Police Swearing In/Promotion a l Ceremony
This Letter to Commission is to advise you of a Police Department Swearing -In Ceremony
for a new police officer on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10:00 a .m. in the Major James
Sm ith Community Room on the first floor of the Police Department, 1100 Washington
Avenue.
There will a lso be a Miami Beach Pol ice Promotional Ceremony on Friday, September
10th at 10:00 a.m . in the Major James Smith Community Room .
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic health concerns, attendance at the ceremonies will be
limited to the immediate family members of the honorees. The below personnel will be
