SUBJECT : Byron Carlyle Survey The purpose of this L TC is to share an update on the Byron Carlyle survey. Following Commission direction, staff engaged a market research firm to conduct a survey to better understand the community's desires for the future of the Byron Carlyle site -including potential uses, options for the restoration of the existing building or the development of a new facility on the property. ETC Institute, the firm selected to perform the survey, began contacting residents citywide during the week of Sept. 13 , 2021 . Results are expected by the week of Oct. 15, 2021. The firm will provide 300 completed survey results with a margin of error of+/-5 . 7% with a 95% level of confidence. Th.e firm has previously performed similar surveys for the city , including the 2016 and 2019 Community Satisfaction Surveys. ETC Institute is ensuring that the sample is a representation of the demographic composition of the city and that results will be statistically val id. The survey is being administered online and residents are being contacted through a combination of email, phone calls and text messages. ETC Institute is asking the following questions : 1.
