SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2021-224-WG Claims
Administration Services by a Third-Party Administrator for Workers Compensation
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2021-224-WG which seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in providing
third-party claims administration services for the City's workers compensation program.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on September 8, 2021. The responsive proposals
will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Eddie Beecher, Director, Human Resources Department, City of Pompano Beach;
• Monica Beltran, Director, Parking Department;
• Sonia Bridges, Director, Risk Management Division;
• Frank Estevez, Compensation Manager, Human Resources Department; and
• Anne Marie Sharpe, Director, Risk Management, City of Miami.
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Marvin Adams, Benefits Manager; and
• Cindy Casanova , Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department.
