SUBJECT: COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine Site Update
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission is to provide an update on the COVID-19 testing
and vaccination site operated by NOMI Health at 17 Street and Convention Center Drive. To
date, over 439,000 tests and 19,000 vaccinations have been administered at this location with
the site recently averaging nearly 1,500 patients per day.
To accommodate upcoming shows at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the testing and
vaccination site will relocate effective Monday, October 11, 2021 to the first floor of the
Pennsylvania Garage (G9) on 17 Street and Pennsylvania Avenue through at least the end of
the calendar year.
NOMI Health will be advising patients on their move starting this week as well as placing
signage at the current and new location. Additionally, the city's Office of Marketing and
Communications will promote the site relocation through its various communications channels.
