SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2022-005-ND for Fire
and Police False Alarm Billing System
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2022-005-ND. The RFP seeks proposals for a revenue sharing contract for the
administration of the false alarm billing system. The false alarm billing system is administered pursuant
to Section 42-81 -42-92 and 50-15 of the City Code.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on December 3, 2021. The responsive proposals
will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP .
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Jeremy Bloomfield, Fire Prevention Captain, Fire Department;
• Joseph Florio, Firefighter I, Fire Department;
• Andre Morales, Police Officer, Police Department;
• Steven Pedroso, IT Business Analyst, Information Technology Department; and
• Fernando Pestana, Senior Management and Budget Analyst, Office of Budget and
Performance Improvement.
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Pedro De Faria, Senior Management and Budget Analyst, Office of Budget and Performance
Improvement;
• Anthony Loperfido, Police Sergeant, Police Department;
• Ozzy Macias, Senior Manager, Information Technology Department; and
• Juan Meizoso, Chief, Fire Prevention Division Chief, Fire Department.
