SUBJECT: 6TH ANNUAL MIAMI BEACH YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL
The City of Miami Beach and The Rhythm Foundation invites you to join us for a showcase
of exceptional music by young artists at the 6th Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival,
on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the North Beach Bandshell
(7275 Collins Avenue).
This popular season highlight is the culmination of musical performance video auditions,
held throughout November 2021, as 43 local youth musicians applied for a coveted spot
at the festival. Performers this year were selected by a panel of City and music industry
professionals looking to showcase talented bands, school groups and soloists.
This year the festival will be headlined by the legendary Miami Beach Rock Ensemble and
will also showcase artists on two stages -the Clark D. Burris stage in the Bandshell, and
the Garden Stage in Bandshell Park. The final schedule is an exciting lineup of everything
from classic rock, torch singers, next generation jazz artists, indie singer-songwriters,
talented instrumentalists, even the return of a pint-sized Beatles cover band. Selected

Festivalgoers will also enjoy the Bass Museum Art tent, Parks and Recreation's
Imagination Playground, a hands-on Brazilian percussion workshop for kids by
MiamiBloco, food and other fun activations.
This event will be presented to a live in-person audience (following COVID-19 safety
precautions) and will also be live-streamed on MiamiBeach.rocks, as well as other social
media platforms.
