Miami Beach Live! Erasure Performance Cancellation
The purpose of this letter to the Mayor and Commission is to provide an update regarding
the Miami Beach Live! and the cancellation of the scheduled performance by Erasure.
Citing "circumstances beyond their control," alternative dance band Erasure has
canceled a number of its upcoming North American tour dates, including the scheduled
appearance at Miami Beach Live! on March 5.
The Tourism and Culture Department staff and Tom Bercu Presents are working quickly
to identify and book a replacement act for Erasure. Erasure ticket holders, both free and
paid, will receive a direct cancellation message from the Universe ticketing platform.
Refunds to ticket buyers will be processed automatically. Buyers can expect between 5-
8 business days to see the refund reflected on their credit card statement.
