City of Miami Beach, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139, www.miamibeachfl.gov OFFICE OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS, Tel: 305.673.7575 PRESS RELEASE Tonya Daniels, E-mail: tonyadaniels@miamibeachfl.gov Melissa Berthier, E-mail: melissaberthier@miamibeachfl.gov FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 9, 2021 City of Miami Beach Amends COVID-19 Emergency Measures – Curfew to Expire on April 12 at 12:01 a.m. – Miami Beach, FL – The Interim City Manager has amended the City’s Emergency Measures to provide that the curfew will remain in full effect until the expiration of Miami- Dade County’s general curfew on April 12, 2021 at 12:01 a.m., as set forth in Amendment 5 of County EO 27-20 and Amendment 1 to County EO 33-20. Restaurants and food service establishments will no longer have any further curfew limitations upon the expiration of the general curfew. Emergency measures pertaining to noise levels at food service establishments, and sales of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption by package liquor stores and other retail stores remain in full effect and have not been modified by the Interim City Manager. Any violation of the provisions of this Order may subject an operator, business entity, or organization to the closure of the establishment for a period of at least 24 hours, or through the duration of the State of Emergency.
