Coordination, reviews as well as permits were required from multiple government agencies, including the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works, Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources (RER), City of Miami Beach Building Department, City of Miami Beach Department of Transportation, Office of Marketing and Communications, City of Miami Beach Police Department and the City of Miami Beach Public Works Department. These include testing and inspection of the asphalt, street lighting system, traffic signals, pavement marking and signage, landscaping and irrigation system and inspection of the road, barrier walls and all hardscape. The testing and inspections are being scheduled with the different agencies. Completion and reopening of Indian Creek Drive, removal of the traffic control devices and reestablishing the one-way traffic pattern on Collins Avenue is tentatively scheduled, at the earliest, for the week of March 14, 2022, but no later than the end of the month.
