SUBJECT : Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2022-019-ND, for
Emergency Medical Transport Billing and Collection Services
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2022-019-ND. The RFP seeks proposals from experienced firms to assist the
City with billing services relating to the emergency medical services (EMS) and medical transport
services provided by the Fire Department.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on April 1, 2022. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP .
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee :
• Joseph Florio, Firefighter I, Fire Department;
• Jorge Linares , Fire Division Chief, Fire Department;
• Joan Chin, Office Associate 111, Fire Department; and
• Victor White , Fire Captain, Fire Department.
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates :
• Digna Abella , Deputy Chief, Fire Department; and
• Mark Schwartz, Fire Captain, Fire Department.
