Event: Mother's Day Baskets
Date: Beginning April 8th
Orders can be made by visiting: register.miamibeachparks.com.
Send the special women in your life a unique Mother's Day basket. Small and deluxe
baskets will be available for sale ranging from $10 -$15. Quantities are limited and
available for sale on register.miamibeachparks .com . beginning April 8th . Open to Miami
Beach residents only . Deliveries will take place on May 6 .

Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Ave .), North Shore Park
(501 72 nd Street), Flamingo Park (999 11 th Street), and Muss Park (4300
Chase Ave.).
The Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department encourages the community to join
the City 's after-school program participants in writing thank you letters to the brave men
and women serving in the military. Drop off your letters at one of our parks and recreation
facilities no later than May 31 .

Learn to Swim weekday registration for the June , July and August sessions begins May
10th • Swim prices for Miami Beach residents is $59 (lnfanUToddler, Pre-School , Level 1
and 2), $63 (Level 3). Testing is required for classes. Register and pay online by visiting

Event: Play Time Graduation
Date: May 18, 2022

Locations: North Shore Park & Youth Center (Auditorium) 501 72 nd Street
The City of Miami Beach Play Time participants will be having a graduation ceremony to
celebrate their accomplishments throughout the 2021-2022 school year. This is our way
of saying farewell and good luck to the children who have been with us and are moving
on to Kindergarten. Families are also invited to this occasion to celebrate and reflect upon
the time spent, memories made, conversations had , and all the developments made over
the course of this year. During this event we hold a ceremony where each child wears a
cap and gown and receives a graduation certificate .

Teen Block Party

Time: 5:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m.
Locations: Flamingo Park Softball Field (Meridian Ave. between 13 th -14 th
Streets)
The Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Miami Beach PAL, will
host a teen block party at Flamingo Park on Saturday, May 15th . Activities will include laser
tag , archery, rides, and more. The event is geared towards teens in 6th grade and above
and will be promoting activities and programs for teens for the upcoming school year such
as Fire Cadets, Police Explorers, Rec4Teens and others.
Event: Fire Cadet Graduation
Date: May 22, 2022
Time: 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Locations: Fire Station 2 (2300 Pine Tree Drive)
The Miami Beach Fire Rescue Cadets will be graduating on Sunday, May 22, at Miami
Beach Fire Station 2. The graduation ceremony and certificate presentation will
commence at 10:00 a.m. The cadets will perform a fireground demonstration at 10:45 AM
which will showcase the Fire and EMS skills they have learned.
