The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to provide the Mayor and Commission with a monthly
update on the donations accepted by the City of Miami Beach, under the City Manager's authority
as per Resolution 2022-32149. The resolution delegated to the City Manager the authority to
accept donations for the benefit of the City in the amount of $7,500.00 or less, including in-kind
donations valued in the amount of $7,500.00 or less, to the extent permitted by law; further,
requiring that the City Manager release a monthly report via Letter to Commission documenting
the name of each donor, the amount of each donation, the date each donation was made, and
the public purpose that would be served by accepting each donation.
During the month of May 2022, the administration accepted the following donations:
Fire Cadet Academy
Item: Cash Donation
Name of Entity Donating: Andrew Jablon -Turnbridge Equities
Estimated Worth: $5,000.00
Donation Date: June 1, 2022
Description: This cash donation was made to the Miami Beach Fire Cadet Academy, to be used
to offset costs of the academy training programs.
Miami Beach Fire Department
Item: 1 x Concept2 BikErg
Name of Entity Donating: Concept2, Inc.
Estimated Worth: $1,100.00
Donation Date: June 24, 2022
Description: Following their tradeshow at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Concept2 will
donate 1 x Concept2 BikErg to the Miami Beach Fire Department. The exercise equipment will
be used at Fire Station #2.

Name of Entity Donating: Concept2, Inc.

Donation Date: June 24, 2022
Description: Following their tradeshow at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Concept2 will
donate 1 x Concept2 BikErg to the Miami Beach Police Department. The exercise equipment will
be used at the Miami Beach Police Department gym.
