SUBJECT: Juneteenth Food Festival -Beachside Cookout Village & Concert
In partnership with The Hungry Black Man, LLC, the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation
Department will host the "Juneteenth Food Festival: Beachside Cookout Village & Concert" on
Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 11 :00 p.m. at Lummus Park, between 11th and 12th
streets.
The festival is slated to become Miami-Dade County's annual go-to cultural Juneteenth
celebration and education experience. Festival attendees will converge on the sands of Miami
Beach for a family centered celebration of freedom, with some of the nation's most renowned
chefs, cooks, bakers, musicians, culinary personalities and thought leaders.
This event will attract Miami Beach residents of all ages along, with eager foodies of the
surrounding communities, to join in the spirit of freedom, fun and purpose by indulging in various
interpretations of culinary excellence, live musical performances by Ronnie VOP with help from
the Hardemon Project, a children's play area, and refreshing fruit inspired juices.
