SUBJECT: Parks & Recreational Facilities Advisory Board Motions
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (L TC) is to inform the Mayor and Commission of the motion
passed by the Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board at its meeting on June 9, 2022:
MOTION 1:
The Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board strongly motions for the Parks and Recreation
Department to continue to vet overall health and wellness and family friendly activations at Lummus
Park and further motions that any proposals received be reviewed by the Parks Board in order to give
the City Commission its recommendations.

Motion passes: unanimously
