SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2022-168-ND for
Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2022-168-ND. The RFQ seeks to establish an agreement with qualified firms
for professional construction engineering and inspection (CEI) firms to provide various CEI services
required for most construction projects.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on June 21, 2022. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Carla Dixon, Capital Projects Coordinator, Office of Capital Improvement Projects;
• Francisco Garcia, Division Director, Facilities and Fleet Management Department;
• Matthew LePera, Principal Engineer, Public Works Department; and
• Paola Vega, Capital Projects Coordinator, Office of Capital Improvement Projects.
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Giancarlo Pena, Assistant City Engineer, Public Works Department;
• Rodney Perez, Capital Projects Coordinator, Office of Capital Improvement Projects; and
• Thais Vieira, GO Bond Program Assistant Director, Office of the City Manager.
