Granado, City Clerk m June 16, 2022 SUBJECT: Historic Preservation Board Discussion -Historic Oceanfront Hotels currently exposed to the elements and unprotected while awaiting renovation. On March 9, 2022, at the request of Commissioner Kristen Rosen Gonzalez, the City Commission referred the following item to the Historic Preservation Board for discussion and recommendation: R9Q: REFERRAL TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD (HPB) REGARDING HISTORIC OCEANFRONT HOTELS THAT ARE CURRENTLY EXPOSED TO "THE ELEMENTS" AND UNPROTECTED WHILE AWAITING RENOVATION (NOTE: The referral was approved as part of the Consent Agenda). On May 10, 2022, the Historic Preservation Board discussed the following oceanfront properties, including the construction status of each: 1. Versailles Hotel -3425 Collins Avenue 2. Deauville Hotel -6701 Collins Avenue 3. Normandy Plaza Hotel -6979 Collins Avenue 4. Raleigh/Richmond/South Seas Hotels -1751, 1757, 1775 Collins Avenue 5. All Seasons -3621 Collins Avenue 6. Delano Hotel -1685 Collins Avenue 7. Shore Club Hotel -1901 Collins Avenue 8.
