Sustainability Committee Motion Ban Smoking on Beaches
Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission,
The Sustainability Committee met on June 30, 2022 and passed the motion below:
The Sustainability Committee encourages the City Mayor and Commission to enact legislation that bans
smoking on beaches. To support this legislation, ashtrays should be installed at the entrance to the beaches,
along with all the necessary signage.
