DATE: August 03, 2022 lf\ . , SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2022-493-ND for Fireworks Displays The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2022-493-ND. By means of this RFQ, the City is seeking proposals from qualified firms interested in being considered to provide fireworks displays for City events. The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on September 6, 2022. The responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ. I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee: • Cynthia Casanova, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department; • John Ripple, Beach Maintenance Director, Facilities and Fleet Management Department; • Francys Vallecillo, Assistant Director, Tourism and Culture Department; and • Victor White, Training Division Chief, Fire Department; I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates: • Kamal Deshong, Operations Manager, Facilities and Fleet Management Department; • Juan Meisozo, Fire Prevention Chief, Fire Department; and • Luis Wong, Administrative Services Manager, Tourism and Culture, and Economic Development Departments.
