SUBJECT: Yappy Hour Event
I am pleased to announce Yappy Hour, a fun community event
highlighting the importance of protecting Biscayne Bay and surface waters
by properly handling and disposing dog waste to prevent nutrient pollution.
Yappy Hour will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Maurice
Gibb Park.
The event will start at 5:00 pm and run until 8:00 pm when residents will
be able to enjoy the beautiful sunset view of Biscayne Bay. The event is in
partnership with several community partners, inviting residents and their
pets to celebrate Biscayne Bay and pledge to help protect it. Activities will
include live music, a dog adoption station, a pet clothing swap and treats
for everyone to enjoy.
