SUBJECT: Historic Preservation Board Recommendation -Existing Bus Shelters
At their September 13, 2022 meeting, the Historic Preservation Board reviewed and approved a
certificate of appropriateness for new bus shelter structures within the City's historic districts. Following
the approval, the Board discussed the existing bus shelters and passed a motion recommending that
the Mayor and City Commission consider the retention and adaptation of the existing structures with
new technology rather than their demolition.
