SUBJECT: Motion from the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to transmit the following motion passed by
the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) by a unanimous vote at a meeting
held on September 20, 2022:
The AHAC requests for the Code Compliance and the Building
Department to visit the elderly-designated housing properties located at
220 23 rd Street and 800 Washington Avenue, to inspect the structural
integrity and deficiencies throughout the units, as reported in the article
published in the Miami Herald on September 16, 2022.
