SUBJECT: G.O. Bond Oversight Committee Motions
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission (“LTC”) is to advise you of two motions made at the
G.O. Bond Oversight Committee meeting held on September 22, 2022.
Voting Members present: Karen Rivo (Chair), Carmen Browne, Jack Glottmann, Scott
Needelman, Laura Veitia
Voting Members absent: Jason Greene (Vice-Chair), Francisco Diez-Rivas
Non-Voting members present: Adam Kravitz, Jason Koslowe, Adam Grieser
Non-Voting Members absent: Carolina Jones
Motion No. 1 - Regarding the 72nd Street Complex Project:
The G.O. Bond Oversight Committee made a motion urging the City Commission to either finalize
the agreement as quickly as possible with the current bidder or move expeditiously with the
second bidder to finalize an agreement as a design-build.
Motion made by Laura Veitia
Motion seconded by Carmen Browne
Motion passed unanimously.
Motion No. 2 – Regarding Bayshore Park, Maurice Gibb and Police HQ Projects:
The G.O. Bond Oversight Committee made a motion requesting that the City Commission prioritize
all shovel ready projects.
Motion made by Jack Glottman
Motion seconded by Scott Needelman
Motion passed unanimously.
