On April 6, 2022 the City Commission passed Resolution 2022-32124 that authorized City
employees to donate Annual and Sick Leave pursuant to Section 78-3 of the City Code for the
benefit of persons displaced and/or adversely affected by Russia's unlawful invasion of Ukraine.
The City Administration was directed to remit the donated funds to the American Red Cross.
'City employees donated 451 hours of Sick and Annual leave to this cause. As a result,
$21,887.76 will be donated to the American Red Cross as a result of this initiative.
