SUBJECT: Mayor & Commission Pickleball Clinic
The Parks and Recreation Department invites you to join us for our first Mayor and
Commission Pickleball Clinic on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
at our new pickleball courts at the Miami Beach Golf Club (2301 Alton Road). We'll teach
you how to "dink" and learn the FUNdamentals of the sport while participating in a
friendly game.
The clinic will be hosted by Chris Powers, the #1 ranked women's pickleball player in the
world according to global rankings in the 60+ mixed category and the #4 ranked player
in the 60+ women doubles division, in the country. Chris will be joined by Lily Azel, the
USA Pickleball Ambassador for Miami-Dade County.
Please RSVP to Cindy Casanova at cynthiacasanova@miamibeachfl.gov. Paddles will
be provided. We'll see you in the "kitchen"!
