SUBJECT: Miami Beach Police Athletic League's Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway
The Miami Beach Police Athletic League's (PAL) annual Thanksgiving Basket
Giveaway, now in its 44th year, will be hosted on Saturday, November 19, 2022
from 11 :30am - 1 :00pm. Organizers will meet at the North Shore Park Youth
Center located at 501 72nd Street, where kick off festivities will commence. As in
year's past, members of the school band will set the mood and help get everyone
in the giving spirit.
This year, as in many years past, members of the Miami Beach Police
Department and the PAL will be on hand to give out an estimated 400 Publix gift
cards. The gift cards will ensure the families are able to purchase food for a
traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
While this is but one of many important outreach events, it is perhaps the most
worthwhile and prominent community project the PAL sponsors, and we are
proud to serve Miami Beach with the gift of giving.
