SUBJECT: Historic Preservation Board Recommendation -North Beach Pylon, 301 71 Street
At their November 8, 2022 meeting, the Historic Preservation Board (HPB) held a discussion regarding
the existing pylon structure located at 301 71 Street. As part of this discussion the Board unanimously
approved the following motion with five (5) members present:
Transmit a recommendation to the Mayor and City Commission to explore all possible options
for the retention of the existing decorative pylon structure currently located at 301 71 Street
including its possible relocation or acquiring a conservation easement from the property owner.
