Wilson Phillips also starred in the TV Guide Network reality show, “Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On.” The Wilson Phillips album, “Dedicated,” pays tribute to the famous parents of band members — Chynna Phillips, Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson — with songs from The Beach Boys and The Mamas and Papas. “Miami Beach Live!” will activate the Lummus Park area of South Beach and the beachfront between 10 to 13 streets each weekend in March starting on Friday, March 4 through Sunday, March 27. The performances cover a range of musical genres from dance to pop to international and symphonic Broadway. The entire month will feature daytime programming, Friday night movies, Saturday evening concerts and Tasty Sundays with prix fixe menus at some of Miami Beach’s best-known restaurants. On March 12, seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist chartbuster Alanis Morissette, takes to the stage of Miami Beach Live! The Canadian-born Morissette’s “Jagged Little Pill” album sold 30 million copies and became the highest-selling debut album worldwide. Jon Batiste, this year’s most Grammy-nominated artist, will play prior to Morissette. The high- energy band leader on CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” earned a whopping 11 Grammy nominations in seven fields, more than any other artist. Colombian superstar Juanes, the chart-topping “Camisa Negra” Latin rocker is up on March 19. His debut album, “Fijate Bien,” brought Juanes the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in a musical career that catapulted him to global acclaim as one of the most important Latin music artists in the world. Juanes has earned 20 Latin Grammy Awards. Genre-bending orchestra Nu Deco Ensemble, young Cuban sensation Cimafunk and Brooklyn- based Afrobeat band Antibalas will take the stage prior to Juanes. Broadway sensation, actress and author Bernadette Peters closes out “Miami Beach Live!” on Saturday, March 26 with an opening performance by Brian Stokes Mitchell. One of the best- known Broadway performers, Peters is also known to television and movie audiences. Tickets for all “Miami Beach Live!” concerts are available through Ticketmaster. Free resident general admission tickets will be available February 9, 2022 at 4 p.m. for Wilson Phillips but are sold out for all other performances. Residents will use their zip code as the “access key” at the point of purchase to receive a maximum of four (4) tickets per household. Wilson Phillips tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10 a.m. Resident VIP tickets cost $100. Nonresident general admission tickets cost $10.
