The City of Miami Beach will be hosting an Art Gallery Night where our adult program
participants from the ceramics and fine arts program will display their artwork.
Refreshments and snacks will be served . All are welcome.

Black History Night Celebration

$5 fee (includes rides, crafts, entertainment & more)
The Parks and Recreation Department invites you to celebrate Black History Month by
recognizing the heritage , accomplishments, and culture of African Americans . En j oy
cultural performances from the City 's after-school participants, entertainment, rides, food ,
crafts , and more. To kick off the event, the City 's Black Affairs Advisory Committee will be
recognizing DeAnne Connolly Graham as the 2023 Black History Month Community
Member Award for Public Service. The posthumous award will be presented to recognize
DeAnne as she was the essence of community and a champion in support ing Miami
Beach businesses and professional women around South Florida . DeAnne was a high ly
valued member of the M iami Beach community as the CEO of ROI Med ia Consultants ,
Vice-Chair of the Black Affairs Advisory Board , Chair of the Miami Beach Chamber of
Commerce Women 's Bus iness Council , and former Chair of the Pi ll ar Trustees for the
Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce . Admission is free, and refreshments will be
available for sale . T ickets can be purchased beginning January 30 th by visit ing
