SUBJECT : Convention Center Hotel Project-Grand Hyatt Miami Beach
Stormwater Infrastructure Installation -Traffic Pattern Impact
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to advise you that starting on January 30, 2023,
through February 13, 2023, Convention Center Drive between 17th and 18th Streets, and one (1) west-
bound lane on 17th Street between Convention Center Drive and Pennsylvania Avenue, will be closed
for vehicular traffic.
Convention Center Drive and 17th Street will be fully open prior to the Discover Boating Miami
International Boat Show, which is taking place February 15-19. The work will resume on February 21,
2022. .
This is required for stormwater infrastructure installation, which is part of the scope of work of the Early
Access Agreement with MB Mixed Use Investment, LLC. The contractor has an approved MOT and the
work has been coordinated with Convention Center Operations.
