SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2023-073-WG for
Professional Tennis Management and Operation Services at the City's Flamingo Park
Tennis Center
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2023-073-WG. Through the RFP, well-qualified firms with documented
experience in tennis instruction and center operations are invited to submit proposals for professional
tenn is management and operations services for the Flamingo Park Tennis Center.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on January 19 , 2023 . The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP .
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• David Berger, Vice-Chair, Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board
• Cindy Casanova , Assistant Director , Parks and Recreation Department
• Jose del Risco , Ass istant Director , Parks and Recreation Department
• Gayle Durham, Resident
• Linsey Lovell , Board of Governors, Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce
