Hudak, City Manage{\ \ � February 8, 2023 l,I"' DATE: SUBJECT: 7 th Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival The City of Miami Beach and The Rhythm Foundation invite you to join us for a showcase of exceptional music by young artists, at 7th Annual Miami Beach Youth Music Festival on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Miami Beach Bandshell (7275 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL). This popular season highlight is the culmination of musical performance video auditions, held throughout December 2022, as 52 local youth musicians applied for a coveted spot at the festival. Performers this year were selected by a panel of City and music industry professionals, looking to showcase talented bands, school groups and soloists. This year the festival will be headlined by the legendary Miami Beach Rock Ensemble, and will feature three showcase stages throughout the day, including the Clark D. Burris main stage in the Bandshell, as well as an acoustic stage and piano bar in Bandshell Park. The final schedule is an exciting lineup of everything from classic rock, torch singers, next generation jazz artists, indie singer-songwriters, talented instrumentalists, and even the return of a pint-sized Beatles cover band. This event will be presented to a live in-person audience as well as live-streamed on MiamiBeach.rocks and other social media platforms.
