Production Industry Council Motion - March 9, 2023
The purpose of this letter to the Mayor and Commission is to provide an update regarding a motion
made during the March 9, 2023 Production Industry Council ("PIC") Meeting:
Motion: Request the City Manager or Mayor to write a letter to Senate President Kathleen
Passidomo voicing opposition to House Bill 5, due to the negative affects it would have on the
production industry.
Motion was made by Christina LaBuzetta and seconded by Randi Freedman. Motion passed
unanimously (6-0).
Members in attendance: Ms. Barbara Goicoechea (Chair), Mr. Igor Shteyrenberg (Vice Chair),
Ms. Nicole Allison, Ms. Randi Freedman, Mr. Charles Madison, Mr. Christina LaBuzetta.
