SUBJECT: Police Memorial Ceremony
This Letter to the Mayor and City Commission is to advise you of a Miami Beach Police
Department Ceremony on Thursday, May 4", 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will be
held at the monument in front of the Miami Beach Police Station.
The Memorial Ceremony is the one day each year where we formally honor those Miami
Beach Police Officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
You are also invited to join Chief Clements and members of the Police Command Staff
and many members of the Miami Beach Police Department and Miami-Dade's law
enforcement community at the Police Memorial Ceremony for all Miami-Dade County at
that same evening. This ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Tropical Park (7900
S.W. 4O" Street) and will honor all the recorded fallen heroes from throughout Miami-Dade
County.
