SUBJECT: G.O. Bond Oversight Committee Motion
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to provide an update regarding a motion
made during the March 30, 2023 G.O. Bond Oversight Committee meeting.
Voting Members present: Karen Riva (Chair), Jack Glottmann, Laura Veitia, Scott Needelman,
Dennis Scholl, Susan Askew
Non-Voting Members present: Carolina Jones, David Grieser, Bruce Carter, Michael DeFilippi
Voting Members absent: Jason Koslowe
Non-Voting Members absent: Adam Kravitz
Background: Michael Rossi, the Founder and Artistic Director of the Miami Music Festival,
presented the proposed Projection Mapping project.
Motion - Regarding the Projection Mapping Project:
The G.O. Bond Oversight Committee made a motion to approve the funds of $1.5 million to be
allocated to the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival to invest in projection mapping projectors
and production equipment.
Motion made by Jack Glottmann
Motion seconded by Susan Askew
Motion passed 5-0
