SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2023-120-ND, for
Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the 72" Street Community Complex Project
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2023-120-ND. The RFQ seeks to obtain qualifications from construction
management at-risk firms for the 727° Street Community Complex Project (General Obligation Bond
Project Number 1). The selected firm will provide preconstruction and construction phase services for
the completion of the project.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on April 10, 2022. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Monica Beltran, Director, Parking Department
• Jose Del Risco, Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department
• Francisco Garcia, Division Director, Facilities and Fleet Management Department
• David Gomez, Division Director, Office of Capital Improvement Projects
• Ronnie lssenberg, Member, Ad Hoc North Beach CRA Advisory Committee
• Carolina Jones, Member, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee
• Rodney Knowles, Assistant Director, Public Works Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
