SUBJECT: Motions of the Ad Hoc North Beach Community Redevelopment Agency
(CRA) Advisory Committee
This Letter to Comm ission ("LT C") provides an update regarding motions passed by the
Ad Hoc North Beach CRA Advisory Committee (the "Committee") on April 18, 2023.
Committee: Jose Smith (Chair), Betsy Perez (Vice Ch air), Ron nie lssenberg, Romina
Orozco-Encio, Manning Salazar, David Sexton
Motion 1: The Committee supports enacting an ordinance to establish the North
Beach CRA Advisory Committee on a permanent basis, with
committee members serving for a two-year term of office.

Motion passed by acclamation
Motion 2: The Committee unanimously supports creation by the North Beach
CRA of a Commercial Fa~ade Improvement Program and Residential
Property Improvement Program.
