SU BJEC T: Mayors' Chess Challenge
The City of Miami Beach Parks & Recreation Department is proud to announce its
participation in the annual Mayors' Chess Challenge to be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue).
The Mayors' Chess Challenge is aimed at drawing attention to the scholastic benefits of
chess not only in schools, but in the community as well. The initiative provides an
opportunity for players of all ages to gather for a free and friendly game of chess, and fun
with community leaders.

light refreshments provided. Game room and ice skating rink also
available for free during the event.
