SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2023-
015-ND for Emergency Medical Transport Billing and Collection Services
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of
RFP No. 2023-015-ND. The RFP seeks proposals from experienced firms to assist the
City with billing services relating to the emergency medical services (EMS) and medical
transport services provided by the Fire Department.
Proposals will be received on June 9, 2023. The responsive proposals will be reviewed
by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Joseph Florio, Firefighter I, Fire Department
• Jorge Linares, Fire Division Chief, Fire Department
• Femi Ogunmola, Financial Analyst Ill, Finance Department
• Victor White, Division Chief, Fire Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Digna Abello, Deputy Chief, Fire Department
• Mark Schwartz, Fire Captain, Fire Department
