SUBJECT: Mayor's 41°'Street Blue Ribb on Com mitt ee Motion
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to inform the Mayor and Commission of
a motion made by the Mayor's 41 st Street Blue Ribbon Committee at its meeting on July 13,
2023.
Members present: Yechiel Ciment (Chair), Jerri Hertzberg Bassuk, Betty Behar, Michael
Burnstine, Marcella Novela, Robin Jacobs, Seth Gadinsky, Eric Hankin, and Jeremy Watchel
Motion: The Mayor's 41° Street Blue Ribbon Committee recommends that, based on the
response of the Request for Letters of Interest (RFLI) for Mixed-Use Development on City-Owned
Parking Lots near 41 st Street, the City of Miami Beach issue a Request for Proposals (RFP), for
said lots, as soon as possible.
