Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission,
The Sustainability Committee met on July 27, 2023 and passed the motion below:
The Sustainability Committee urges the Mayor and City Commission to ban balloon releases in Miami
Beach, including a fine schedule as follows: $250 for first offense, $2,500 for second offense, and $25,000
for third offense or higher.
