SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) 2023-349-KB
Redevelopment of the City-Owned Property Located at 1262 Collins Ave
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the
status of RFP 2023-349-KB. The RFP seeks competing proposals, in accordance with Section
255.065, Florida Statutes, to the unsolicited proposal received by the City for the redevelopment
of 1262 Collins Avenue (P16), which proposes to redevelop the property with a parking garage
that includes office space.
Proposals pursuant to this RFP will be received on August 4, 2023. The responsive proposals will
be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Heather Shaw, Assistant Director, Economic Development Department
• Monica Beltran, Director, Parking Administration
• Ozzie Dominguez, Division Director, Facilities and Fleet Management Department
• Alba Tarre, Director, Office of Housing & Community Services
• Vyomie Greene, Assistant Director, Finance Department
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates:
• Elizabeth Miro, Interim Director, Facilities and Fleet Management Department
• Marcela Rubio, Assistant Director, Office of Housing & Community Services
