City of Miami Beach Hall of Fame Ceremony-October 5, 2023, 1 0AM
The purpose of this letter to the Mayor and Commission is to provide an update regarding
the 2023 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. On September 13, 2023, the Mayor and City
Commission accepted the recommendation of the Hall of Fame Committee to ratify the
induction of Judy Drucker, Seymour and Edith Gelber, Nancy Liebman, Mark Samuelian
and Michael Tilson Thomas as members of the Miami Beach Hall of Fame. As part of the
ratification, the Mayor and Commission also recommended and approved the induction of
Muhammad Ali, Jerry Libbin, and Russell Galbut.

A permanent plaque bearing the likeness and accomplishments of each inductee will hang
in the South Hallway of the Miami Beach Convention Center.
