Hudak, City Manaw) November 27, 2023 SUBJECT: "Find Your Voice" Miami Beach The purpose of this letter to commission is to announce that the Office of Marketing & Communications, in partnership with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau(GMCVB) and Sony Music Latin, will be launching "Find Your Voice" - a music-based digital campaign. The collaboration is aimed at positioning Miami Beach as the music capital of SouthFlorida by providing an immersive journey that amplifies the vibrant sounds of Sony Music Latin's roster of artists and how Miami Beach has factored into their creative process. The "Find Your Voice" Miami Beach based episodes are a continuation of Sony Music Latin's award-winning "En Letra de Otro," original content series featuring performancesand interviews where artists share their story through the songs that shaped their lives. This iteration includes collaborations with globally acclaimed artists including Fonseca, Kany Garcia, Gale, Boza and Bomba Estereo -all who have been based in or have found inspiration within Miami Beach. In each episode, one artist will take viewers on apersonal journey, delving into how the city has fueled their music and influenced their favorite songs. Through intimate interviews in various Miami Beach based venues and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, audiences will gain unprecedented access to theartists' creative processes and their deep connection with our city. As a part of the larger "Find Your Wave" campaign, the series aims to showcase MiamiBeach as the ultimate cultural destination, and will captivate audiences worldwide, by offering a unique perspective on the city's rich cultural tapestry. In 2023, the RecordingIndustry Association of America announced that Latin music revenue had exceeded $1 billion for the first time ever, outpacing the rest of the industry. The majority of this revenue was from streaming, which is why the "Find Your Wave" campaign is targeted tothat same audience -turning Latin music listeners onto Miami Beach and all we have to offer. The digital campaign will include videos, live performances, and interactive features. It isset to premiere this month and run through February 2024.
