Bring a blanket, share a picnic dinner and enjoy one of the most popular cultural experiences in the city as today’s most sought-after movie titles hit the big wall via a freestanding state-of-the art visual and audio system capable of producing a resolution four times greater than high definition. “This is a fun way to meet your neighbors while getting to see some family-favorite films in a uniquely Miami Beach setting,” explained City Manager Alina T. Hudak. The Cinema Series at SoundScape Park will feature a different movie each Wednesday at 8 p.m. on the southwest corner of Washington Avenue and 17 Street. The season begins on Oct. 5 with “Lightyear” followed by “Dune” on Oct. 12 and “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” on Oct. 19.
